Tried EVERYTHING to Avoid Surgery, But Glad I Did

I am glad I had the surgery. I had tried everything before the surgery and, of course, the word "surgery" in my mind was something I did not want to do because I had heard "horror" stories from friends and relatives of their own experiences. After years of chronic pain, taking neuropathy medications, narcotic medications, epidural injections, physical therapy, chiropractic care, using a TENS unit/muscle stimulator, ice and heat therapy, even after using all of these methods, I became worse, and I wanted my quality of life back. So, I did some research and found Dr. McCord, who after my patient history, x-rays, and other tests recommended this surgery. He explained everything he would be doing, and I agreed to having the surgery, and I am glad I did. The burning in my feet and legs was gone right after the surgery. It's now been 6 weeks and I still can tell a difference. I still have some recovery to do, but I am well on my way to a full recovery, and I am looking forward to a good future. Thank you, Dr. McCord. 01/30/2015

Since my surgery on December 21, 2016, I am not having as much tingling, hot and cold in my left leg or foot. Overall, I feel much more positive about this surgery and my overall physical abilities. I am currently walking two miles at least 3 to 4 times per week and at least 1/2-mile to one-mile other days in the week. 01/31/2017
